Sandwick Firefighters recognised at Cunningsburgh Hall Presentation

I recently photographed members from the Sandwick Firefighters at the Cunningsburgh Hall who were being recognised for their achievements in the service.  Congratulations to Leonard Christie, Stuart Jamieson and Brian Gifford.

Sandwick Watch Manager Stuart Jamieson receives his 20 year long service good conduct medal from ACFO Mike Holme.

Retired Watch Manager Brian Gifford receives a silver axe from ACFO Mike Holme in recognition of 32 years service in the Sandwick unit, Highlands & Islands Fire & Rescue Service.

At this year’s Cunningsburgh Show, Sandwick Firefighters raised £200 through generous donations from the public.  A cheque for £50 was donated to the show & a cheque for £150 was donated to the Firefighters Charity.  Iain Smith accepted the cheque on behalf of the show & ACFO Mike Holme accepted the cheque on behalf of the Firefighters Charity.
