There's something fishy going on in 'Shetland' Series 5!

With the eagerly awaited Series 5 of BBC 1 crime drama 'Shetland' about to hit our screens (trailer below), I was recently commissioned by award winning Frankie's Fish and Chips to take a series of photographs.

I've undertaken a number of photo shoots for the Brae-based business, mainly of freshly cooked dishes for their digital menu boards in the takeaway and cafe. However, this shoot was on-location outside the fictional home of Detective Inspector Jimmy Perez at the picturesque Lodberries in Lerwick.

Fresh, local produce is key to Frankie's Fish and Chips quality of dishes

Frankie's Fish and Chips have a dedicated section on their website about Sustainability. As well as supporting well-managed local fisheries, Frankie's engage with the local community promoting sustainability for future generations by running the Frankie’s Fish Course in local schools. This is a 'hands-on' course exposing children to whole, fresh fish and shellfish. They are taught the importance of sustainable fishing in our local community which safeguards jobs and industry for generations to come.

Frankie's packaging also applies the same sustainable model with their customised takeaway boxes 100% plastic free and totally bio-degradable.
