Memorable photographic moment: Mandy & Mark's wedding was my third wedding in Whalsay and it was great to be back on the 'bonnie isle'.

From the moment I left the ferry, everyone couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Those who know me will be aware my sense of direction isn't very good, so special thanks to best man Ivan Reid for keeping me right!

There were many photographic highlights on a sunny day in Whalsay. The traditional mutton supper comes very close, but my favourite moment of the day was visiting Mandy's Granny and Daa en-route to the cookhouse. I was very close to my grandparents, so appreciated how close a bond Mandy had with hers and the delight on their faces when they saw the beautiful bride.

A great day up in Whalsay and I hope it's not long before I'm back there again.
