Shetland Soap Company feature in ELLE Magazine
Many congratulations to Shetland Soap Company who have featured in worldwide lifestyle magazine ELLE. It's great to finally be able to publish this blog post now that the September edition has been released!
Here's how Shetland Soap Company broke the news on their Facebook Page:
This is a tremendous achievement for Shetland Soap Company, part of multi award-winning social enterprise COPE Ltd, who produce a quality range of soap, skincare and mens products.
Featured in the 'Luxury Esesentials' section of September's Elle Magazine is Shetland Soap Company's exquisite soap bar ‘Shoormal’, handmade in Shetland by adults with learning disabilities (see below).
The soap bar is described by Shetland Soap Company as: 'A wonderful fresh fragrance of Cassis and Waterlily - a delicate delight. Its pale turquoise blue colour echoes what you see on a summer’s day, when the white sand beach is reflected through the sparkling sea as it washes onto the shore.'
The soap bar is vegan friendly and wrapped in bio-degradable paper.
The world is a much smaller place due to the World Wide Web and advances in technology, so with Shetland Soap Company's e-commerce capabilities via their website at www.shetlandsoap.co.uk, the reach is significant.
They also have a beautiful retail store to backup their online presence on Lerwick's Commercial Street - full of beautiful aromas and always an impressive window display.
Any business operating on a small island like Shetland will gain invaluable exposure by featuring in such a publication with a global audience. Excellent work Shetland Soap Company - all the best for the future!
