Digital Advent Calendar - Day 20
I always recommend photographers to set their camera to the highest resolution setting. The images may have larger file sizes but the quality will be at its maximum. It is possible to enter the camera's menu and reduce the resolution, but I think it's much easier to take away megapixels later rather than wishing you had set a higher quality setting after the shot has passed. You never know when you're going to get that brilliant photo which you want to enlarge. At full resolution the final print is going to be much sharper and defined. With the price of digital memory so cheap, I recommend you get a high capacity memory card and keep the camera at its highest resolution setting.
